Download full Foo concert - 4/3/96, Toronto - rare performances and early foo [05 Oct 2008|09:38am]
dtang4
[ mood | hungry ]

I uploaded a full Foo Fighters concert from '96 (4/3/96, Toronto) for the foo fighters bbs, but decided I'll share it as well.
http://allrespect.com/user_rantrave.php?user=dave&rant=3

This show has some rare performances...
*Chicken Derby (aka My Poor Brain)
*Satan's in the Manger jam
*Floaty (Petra on vocals)

It also has a lot of early foo and pocketwatch stuff... e.g. winnebago, butterflies, podunk, gas chamber, etc.

Here are my other full concerts. I can upload them on a per request basis (since they take a long time to upload). It's not just all foo (tho mostly):

So, I just uploaded my entire Foo Fighters collection. (I may be missing some, not sure.)

I have 38 albums in total listed, including ~20+ full concerts. Let me know if you want to trade anything. I have them all in mp3s.

You can browse around my collection to see what else I have. I have some STP, GNR, and VR bootleg concerts, as well.

Looking for Rare Music? [01 Jun 2008|09:00am]

Hey guys,
So, I'm posting this to all communities that I think would be interested. If you're looking for rare albums and such, check out this page: http://www.allrespect.com/collection_search.php?biggest
There's a search box on the right side. You can type in a band name or album name that you're looking for.

It's kinda hit or miss, depending on what you're looking for, but I did some searches with very positive results. For instance, if you're a Foo Fighters fan, I found all these albums:
In Your Honor - Owned by 3 members
One by One - Owned by 3 members

Rock Music Community Open to Public [24 Nov 2007|07:10pm]
dtang4
I was invited to this rock music community a while back. At the time, the site was by invite only, but it's now open for anyone to sign up. Here's the site: http://www.allrespect.com/

It's pretty cool and let's you find other people who share your same taste in music. You can also get music news and find others going to the same concert shows. You can even add a little form to your LJ page to compare your visitor's taste in music with your own. I got one on my LJ if you wanna see.

Anyway, I'm rambling... just thought I'd share this with the community! Later.

Go to Concerts? [03 Sep 2007|05:54pm]

Yo,
Another update for what is becoming one of my frequented sites, www.AllRespect.com. They recently added a new Concerts feature. The idea is for you to find other concert goers who are attending the same concerts and then share videos, mp3s, photos, etc. from that show.

The feature is not really being used, but I think it's a good idea, so I'm helping spread the word here. Anywhere, there are still some more invites left to join the new music community. Here's the link:

Enjoy, folks.

New Foo Track -- Keep the Car Running [19 Aug 2007|01:17pm]

Check this --
http://www.allrespect.com/news.php?n=455

It's an mp3 download for another track off Echoes, Patience, Silence, and Grace called Keep the Car Running. Song is okay -- not great IMO.

There should be more available on that site according to the post. I'm looking forward to something harder, more TCATS-ish.

Cool Rock Music Community [28 May 2007|03:56pm]

[ mood | anxious ]

Hey all,
I thought you may be interested in this new site, AllRespect.com.

It's a music community for people to find others with the same taste in music (mostly rock/alternative from what I see). You can also create your Music Compatibility Test to add to your LJ for your visitors to check how similar their taste in music is to yours. Check out mine on my journal.

Anyway, the site is still in beta and by invite only. However, they have a couple promotions going on -- one for LJ users (lucky us, eh?):
http://www.allrespect.com/invite.php?promo=LJ

You can read a bit more about the site (clearer than what I'm explaining) here:
http://www.allrespect.com/about.php

Here's my page if you get bored:

Cheers.

This is pretty awesome - 101 covers of Stairway to Heaven. The only one I've heard before was by the Foo Fighters on Kilborn.

There's a ton of Foo Fighters concerts available to download here, from 1995 to 2005. I'm gonna have to pick and choose, because my disk space is running low.

Enjoy!

Dear Dave,
It is very great that you like Led Zeppelin good enough to cover a song by them. But needless to say even though it was "Stairway to Heaven" and you played the guitar part awesome, you totally screwed up the lyric part to it. All you had to do was mezmorize it before you went on.
Note to Dave:LEARN HOW TO remember words if you are going to cover them ESPECIALLY LED ZEPPELIN

Blah just watched the video and it made me made that he couldnt even remember the words to it

Alright, found more downloads. This time from the Foo Fighters:
http://www.rockthirst.com/e/69/Download-Foo-Fighters-concerts-and-bootlegs.php

I've already downloaded 3 concerts and some 93' demos. (Note: most of the downloads on the Foo Fighters bbs are from yousendit, so they will expire.)

There will also be more mp3s to be uploaded.

Check out this rock news site: RockThirst.com

All content is submitted by members, so if you stumble across some news, you can sign up and post up the news yourself. Here's some of the news I found on the site:
- download new RHCP songs (from Stadium Arcadium)
- download Foo Fighters' Oxegen gig
- STP & VR to share stage

Also, members can download some full concerts. Here are some I see up now:
- Foo Fighters - Trabendo, France (mp3s)
- Velvet Revolver - Rock Am Ring (video)
- Stone Temple Pilots - 5/12/2002 (mp3s)
Here's the full list (not much more):

The Foo Fighters show is a really good one.. setlist contains like 20 songs.

I saw Foo in St Paul and I'm not kidding people....it was by far the greatest concert I've been to. Dave got up close and personal when he wondered around the pit, I got a decent three fingered touch. My fiance got a whole hand.

Needless to say, Foo rocks. I'll love them forever. Hope everyone got/gets to see a show...you won't regret it!
